We regret that as a small business we are unable to provide direct assistance to you with any additional advice on how we work; guidance on how to make up particular garments; or samples of products, designs, materials, patterns, etc. You are welcome though to join The Sewing Forum, which we host, where you will find over 100 experienced sewers, many of whom also run small sewing related businesses and who are inclined to answer polite questions. We would welcome student involvement in this forum, so feel free to spread the word.

In addition, there are many resources on the web that you can locate through search engines. Some larger companies that you can identify through various business directories may be able to help you.

Many companies that sell fabric now advertise online and you can order samples directly from them by email, webform or phone. (Note that most suppliers charge a small fee for samples, often refunded on your next order.)

We are not in a position to offer advice on how to get into the fashion industry. The origins of LAM Design are explained in the about us section
